Dr. Greenberg is the developer of Emotion-Focused Therapy in the treatment of Depression. He will provide the theory, the research and a step by step approach to the treatment of depression using this approach.
Advance Registration -- is only $125 for members (PEIASW, PEICA, PAPEI) and $175 for non members. (Meals/accommodations are on your own there are a block of rooms being held.)
This conference will be helpful to professionals in Health Care, Education, Social Services and the Justice System.

This workshop provides an intense experience for therapists working with clients with sexually addictive behaviour.
Participants will learn about diagnostic criteria for sex addiction, profiles or types of addicts, factors in the development of the addictive process, and the six stages of recovery. Highlighted will be the role of childhood and adult trauma in sexual acting out as well as gender differences in addicts, the role of sex addiction in sex offending, addiction interaction disorder, the impact of cybersex and the reciprocal form of their illness, sexual anorexia. This presentation is appropriate for both professionals and non professionals, as well as those in recovery.
Workshop participants receive 6.5 credit hours from the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation.
